(13:18:16)
Vladislav Bidikov
And of course - as soon as time allows we should make a meeting on site in SKopje, MK

(13:21:19)
Aaron Hughes

(13:21:22)
Mike Hughes
Nope. Not better. Blank.
(13:21:22)
Pieter de Boer

(13:21:22)
Vladislav Bidikov

(13:21:23)
Olivier Benghozi

(13:21:25)
Wolfgang Tremmel
he is sharing the wrong screen
(13:21:32)
Marco d'Itri
SFI was not "agreed": it was mandated by the italian antitrust authority
(13:23:06)
(not the useless italian communications regulator)
(13:23:40)
Sia Saatpoor
would you put your presentation on presentation mode..
(13:23:48)
Will van Gulik
it 's a short one, i wont interupt him anymore
(13:24:12)
would have been good however ;)
(13:24:24)
Wolfgang Tremmel
thats why platform training before the meeting was so important
(13:25:38)
Will van Gulik

(13:26:04)
Barry O'Donovan

(13:26:43)

(13:27:52)
Chriztoffer Hansen_495
Convert any presentation to PDF and put view mode to fullscreen. Even for powerpoints.?
(13:27:57)
Florence Lavroff
yes, I agree this would make it easier
(13:28:45)
Massimiliano Stucchi
Even better, open your presentation using keynote, and then Play --> Play slideshow in window, and just share the window
(13:29:27)
Matthieu Herrb
would be nice if meetecho had an option to upload the sliedes to the server like big blue button...
(13:29:28)
Robert Scheck
Not sure why presentation mode is so hard to achieve during this meeting ;-)
(13:29:34)
Massimiliano Stucchi
this way you could also see the rest of your screen
(13:30:03)
Rob Evans
Max: You can do the same in PP too.
(13:30:15)
Rüdiger Volk
in fact there already is the pdf in the presentation archive for THIS presentation
(13:30:17)
Andreas Worbs
matthieu, you can download the slides already via /programme/meeting-plan/connect-wg/
(13:30:27)
Barry O'Donovan
"open your presentation using keynote, and then Play --> Play slideshow in window, and just share the window" -> this is what I did and it worked well I think. Hat tip to the RIPE NCC team doing the practice sessions last week where this was advised.
(13:30:53)
Blake Willis
Great to see more Tier-1/incumbent carriers realizing that everyone benefits from more connectivity
(13:31:18)
Matthieu Herrb
Andreas, Big Blue Button uses the uploaded slides to dsplay them during the presentation. The orator just has nex/previous buttons to control them.
(13:31:23)
Andreas Worbs
ah ok, that's your point :)
(13:31:49)
Matthieu Herrb
yes. from the web server pov it's just images : lower bandwidth and no streaming issues.
(13:32:17)
Alessandro Amirante
The tricky part with presentation mode in general is that when you choose to share only a specific application (i.e., process) and then go to presentation mode, the OS spawns a new process that is not the one you're sharing. So you end up sharing a black box.
(13:32:32)
Pieter de Boer
@Blake, I would see I'd say I see the oposite, Vodafone/Ziggo is about to leave AMS-IX, KPN already has (moved to their own IX NL-IX), T-Mobile has moved all to DTAG and reverted after horrible delays. So I'm concerned
(13:32:38)
Wolfgang Tremmel
I always share full screen - thats the reason I have three screens....
(13:32:55)
Nurani Nimpuno
This was a great panel. I recommend people watching it!
(13:38:28)
Kurt Kayser
IXPs are for me a sign for local collaboration and cooperation willingness
(13:39:04)
Yolandi Robinson
Agree
(13:39:16)
Florence Lavroff

Su*n*space?
(13:41:43)
Not subspace?
(13:41:50)
Remco van Mook
I'm sure that was a typo
(13:42:01)
Aaron Hughes
Thank you Bijal
(13:42:09)
