This is my first Thursday Morning at RIPE!
Virtual W-BoF helps!
I know this lecture!
Good morning, all.
Good morning Brian
Good morning all
@Shane: No, meetecho.ripe.net was dual stack from the meeting day one. I tested in on pure IPv6-only and everything worked, except steno.
Good morning everyone !
Nadira Al Araj
Still the screen content are not displayed on Meetcho but on life streaming
Good morning y'all
good morning, brian seems to be a diesel this morning: hard to start and sloooooowly reviing up ..... ;-)
hi Nadira, I will PM you
Must have gone to the BoF-that-shall-not-be-named-but-shows-up-on-Friday's-wifi-stats.
Good morning all
Good morning everyone
I hope everyone had a good cup of coffy. Having antiabuse in first timeslot is inhumane ;)
Hot water and lemon!
I was on spatialchat and had a short visit to the pub :)
Thank you Brian
It was my pleasure
applause++ for Petrit

+1 for this proposal from Erik
Do we have data to back up Erik's supposition?
yep, but what can we do with abuse of abuse-c ?
An alternate theory is that anything that costs money will be avoided by some companies if they can. :-)
he mentioned an anti-abuse network?
in germany there also is a anti abuse WG in eco I think
I don't speak Dutch :)
Florian - there is? I'll have to ask
Capacity building -= good
Shane: we need to sell it as saving them money by making it easier :)
Brian mentioned there were already documents available. Is any a RIPE BCOP?
Strongly disagree with Jordi
@Michele its called "KG Abuse"
Florian - thanks - pinging one of my contacts about it
@michele and your arguments for disagreement are ?
I disagree with his entire approach
XARF isn't used by IP companies
Totally disagree with him
I think we've picked up your subtle cues here, Michele. :)
I don't think rfc 5965 and rfc 6650 would be complete enough
@Erik We had a brief discussion with new ripe chair on having a training with the help of NCC on abuse handling. Thank for bringing it up
We do not see any usage of XARF on our end…
I haven't got an exact percentage of how many reports we get are XARF but it's tiny
I exactly know our number for XARF reports received ever (15 years): z-e-r-o
Nadira Al Araj
Thanks to the technical person who tried to help me with Meetecho. What is the minimum Internet requirements to work well?
a problem with X-ARF is that the little support also means that actually formatting that way would make some reports *harder* to handle
@Robert LOL metoo
@Nadira: nice to see you here again. We are on 250mbps and it works fine!
This session has now ended. The next session is Routing Working Group and it will start at 11.00. More info on the RIPE 81 meeting plan: https://ripe81.ripe.net/programme/meeting-plan/
