Leo Vegoda
+1 for this proposal from Erik
(10:31:57)

Ángel González
+1
(10:31:59)

Shane Kerr
Do we have data to back up Erik's supposition?
(10:32:13)

Alexander Lyamin
yep, but what can we do with abuse of abuse-c ?
(10:32:16)

Michele Neylon
Which network?
(10:32:55)

Shane Kerr
An alternate theory is that anything that costs money will be avoided by some companies if they can. :-)
(10:33:05)

Michele Neylon
he mentioned an anti-abuse network?
(10:33:14)
oh right
(10:33:21)

Florian Streibelt
in germany there also is a anti abuse WG in eco I think
(10:33:23)

Michele Neylon
I don't speak Dutch :)
(10:33:26)
Florian - there is? I'll have to ask
(10:33:39)
Capacity building -= good
(10:34:05)

Ángel González
Shane: we need to sell it as saving them money by making it easier :)
(10:34:31)

Eliot Lear
Brian mentioned there were already documents available. Is any a RIPE BCOP?
(10:34:36)

Michele Neylon
Strongly disagree with Jordi
(10:34:54)

Florian Streibelt
@Michele its called "KG Abuse"
(10:35:04)

Michele Neylon
Florian - thanks - pinging one of my contacts about it
(10:35:20)

Alexander Lyamin
@michele and your arguments for disagreement are ?
(10:35:45)

Michele Neylon
I disagree with his entire approach
(10:36:09)
Again disagree
(10:36:37)
XARF isn't used by IP companies
(10:36:49)
Totally disagree with him
(10:37:13)
on everything
(10:37:16)

Brian Nisbet
I think we've picked up your subtle cues here, Michele. :)
(10:37:31)

Michele Neylon
:)
(10:37:36)

Ángel González
I don't think rfc 5965 and rfc 6650 would be complete enough
(10:37:45)

Alexander Lyamin
Pffff....
(10:37:47)

Alireza Vaziri
@Erik We had a brief discussion with new ripe chair on having a training with the help of NCC on abuse handling. Thank for bringing it up
(10:38:20)

Robert Scheck
We do not see any usage of XARF on our end…
(10:38:24)

Alex Antener
Jordi: 👏🏻
(10:38:39)

Michele Neylon
I haven't got an exact percentage of how many reports we get are XARF but it's tiny
(10:38:54)

Robert Scheck
I exactly know our number for XARF reports received ever (15 years): z-e-r-o
(10:39:15)

Nadira Al Araj
Thanks to the technical person who tried to help me with Meetecho. What is the minimum Internet requirements to work well?
(10:40:14)

Ángel González
a problem with X-ARF is that the little support also means that actually formatting that way would make some reports *harder* to handle
(10:43:55)

Alexander Lyamin
@Robert LOL metoo
(10:44:20)

Muna Hemoudi
@Nadira: nice to see you here again. We are on 250mbps and it works fine!
(10:45:47)

Angela Dall'Ara
