Simon Leinen

Joined SWITCH, the Swiss research & education network, in 1996. Works as a network engineer again, after an excursion of several years to build SWITCHengines, SWITCH's "cloud" compute and storage infrastructure. Graduated in Computer Science from TU Berlin in 1991. Likes to reduce intelligence and state in the network core. Dreams of a future Internet where the core no longer violate end-to-end design principles by deciding which of the possible paths is best for your packets.
